可见光通信中多载波调制技术比较分析

摘要:

介绍了可见光通信系统的工作原理,论述了正交频分复用(OFDM)和离散多音频调制(DMT)2种常用多载波调制解调技术的原理特点。针对可见光通信系统调制带宽有限的情况,提出了将多载波调制技术应用于可见光通信系统的技术方案。仿真验证了OFDM和DMT调制解调技术应用于可见光通信系统时的性能,比较分析了2种多载波调制解调技术在不同信噪比条件下的传输速率和误码率。仿真结果表明,DMT技术相对于传统的OFDM技术更适用于可见光通信系统。

Abstract:

The fundamental principle of Visible Light Communication( VLC) system and two multi-carrier modulation techniques,Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing( OFDM) and Discrete Multi-Tone( DMT),are introduced in this paper. Considering the condition that the modulation bandwidth of visible light communication system is limited,a method of applying multi-carrier modulation to visible light communication system is proposed to make full use of the limited bandwidth of VLC system. The performance of the two multi-carrier modulation techniques applying to VLC system is investigated by numerical simulations. It is shown that,under the same condition,DMT has better performance and is more suitable to VLC system.
