卫星网络与地面网络融合的5G网络架构

摘要:

为解决5G的全球无死角覆盖、永远在线和融合网络的要求,提出了一种卫星网络与地面网络融合的5G网络架构,并设计了在此架构下的终端接入和呼叫的信令流程。在新架构中地面网与卫星网共用一套核心网,以核心网的角度来实现融合,打破了传统2张网络独立运行或利用网关互联的架构基础,提高了用户体验。实验结果表明,星地网络在核心网角度融合具有良好的系统性能,用户可无差别地使用卫星网络和地面网络。

Abstract:

A 5G network architecture based on satellite-terrestrial integration is proposed in order to meet the requirements such global coverage,online forever and integrated network. The signaling flow of terminal access and call is designed. In the traditional architecture,the satellite network is independent of terrestrial mobile network,and these two networks are connected with gateway. In the new architecture,these two networks are integrated by a common core network to improve the user experience. The experiment results show that the new architecture works so well that users can use satellite network as like as terrestrial mobile network.
